Selecting the Physics Models

You use the Eulerian Multiphase (EMP) model to simulate the interaction of the air-water mixture and the settling of phases within the separator. To simulate turbulence for individual phases, you use the Mixture Turbulence model. This model is appropriate for multiphase flows characterized by phase separation, where the two phases become distinctly segregated.

To select the physics models:

  1. For the physics continuum, Continua > Physics 1, select the following models in order:

  2. Click Close.
  3. To review the models, open the Physics 1 > Models node.

  4. Save the simulation.
