Visualizing the Magnetic Flux Density
To visualize the magnetic flux density, you set up a scalar scene using the Magnetic Flux Density field function. This magnetic flux density can then be saved to a simulation history file in order to animate the whole solution.
Define the magnetic flux density scalar scene:
- Right-click the Scenes node and select .
- Rename Scalar Scene 1 to Magnetic Flux Density - Magnitude.
- Right-click the node and select .
-
Expand the Magnetic Flux Density - Magnitude node and
set the following properties:
Node Property Setting Outline 1 Feature Lines Activated Parts Parts Scalar 1 Transform [Rotor/Rotor 1] Parts Parts Scalar Field Function Min 0.0 T Max 2.0 T Color Bar Color Map blue-red Scalar 2 Parts Parts Scalar Field Function Min 0.0 T Max 2.0 T Color Bar Color Map blue-red Visible Deactivated - Right-click the node and select .
-
Expand the Magnetic Flux Density node and set the
following properties:
Node Property Setting Outline 1 Feature Lines Activated Parts Parts Vector 1 Vector Field Auto Range Max Value Glyph Vector Style Cone Relative Length Glyph Length (%) 2.5
Set up the simulation history for the magnetic flux density
solution:
- Right-click the Solution Histories node and select New.
- In the Save dialog, set the File Name to AxialFluxMotor.
-
Select the
node and set the following properties:
Property Setting Functions Inputs - Save the simulation.
